《藝術是麵》, 裝置   Art is Noodle, installation, dimensions variable, 2001

故事是這樣的：
有一天，一侍女問皇上甚麼是藝術，皇上苦思三月，答曰：「藝術就是將即食麵疊起。」忠心的國民得知聖旨後，便爭先搶購即食麵，即食麵的價格不斷上升，不出半月即食麵己成為國內富有人士方可享用的貴價物品，而不同款式的即食麵亦有各自的價格。 國民除了將即食麵疊起外，再沒有從事其他藝術創作，甚至全國的生產，都因國民沉迷於人生中最具意義的事而停滯不前。藝術以及其他社會活動從此不振，各人只追求“疊麵”的真諦……

The story is:
One day, a maid asked the King what is Art. The King fell into deep thought for three months, then answered, “Art is to pill up instant noodle.” His loyal people received the King’s words. At once they rush to purchase all the instant noodle. The price of the instant noodle rose sharply. Within half a month, only men of wealth could own instant noodle had their different prices. Besides pilling the noodle the People of the King did not deal with other media of Art. Even the production of the state was bogged down since the people addicted in pilling the noodle. Art and all the other social activities were now in a very low spirit. People only knew how to pill up instant noodle……
